Discovery is the starting point, not the end of the analysis. Lion Focus widens visibility over the organization's external surface to identify assets, services, technologies, exposures and information that could represent risk.
The analysis covers the different parts of an organization's digital presence: web, mobile and API applications, infrastructure and services exposed on the Internet, the technologies in use, and assets in cloud environments.
Discovery also looks for exposures a traditional inventory can miss: leaked credentials, API keys, secrets, documents carrying sensitive information, GitHub repositories linked to the organization, and other publicly reachable information that can widen the attack surface.
From discovery to technical depth.
From the assets and exposures it identifies, Lion Focus deepens the technical analysis to understand what lies behind each discovery. Reachable services are identified and analyzed, technologies are recognized, configurations are assessed, and different sources of exposure are correlated to reveal vulnerabilities, security flaws and situations that can increase risk for the organization.
On IP addresses, for example, the analysis can cover the full range of reachable ports and services, making it possible to identify not only what is published, but which service is running, which technologies are associated with it, and what risks may exist in that context.
Across web, mobile and API applications, infrastructure, cloud, repositories and exposed information, the analysis follows the same logic: discover, go deeper, put it in context — turning technical visibility into information that is useful for assessing risk.
