Cookie Policy
Last updated: 4 September 2026.
Draft, pending legal review. What follows describes exactly what this site does today, checked against the code itself. It has not yet been reviewed by Leonnes’ legal counsel.
Cookies only with your permission
Until you answer the privacy notice, or if you decline, this site sets no cookie: not first-party, not third-party, not analytical, not advertising. Open your browser’s developer tools, look for cookies on this domain, and you will find nothing.
If you accept audience measurement, Google Analytics sets the _ga and _ga_*
cookies (valid for up to two years) to tell one visit from the next. Declining
later, under Cookie settings, stops measurement on the following pages;
cookies already set you remove as described below.
We say it plainly because the usual formula — “we use cookies to improve your experience” — is normally false by omission, and a security company should not write it without cause.
What is kept in your browser
Two things, both in your own device’s local storage, both readable only by this site, neither ever sent to us.
| Key | Contents | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|
theme |
Light or dark, as you chose | Until you clear this site’s data |
lf.consent |
Your answer to the privacy notice, and its date | Until you clear this site’s data |
Local storage differs from a cookie in one way that matters: its contents never travel with requests to the server. It cannot be used to recognise you across sites, because it does not leave the browser.
Third-party services
- Embedded YouTube videos use the
youtube-nocookie.comdomain, which does not record the view against your profile until you press play. Once you do, YouTube’s own terms apply. - Cloudflare Turnstile, the contact form’s anti-bot check, is designed to work without tracking cookies.
Audience measurement
Google Analytics 4 loads only after you accept audience measurement. Until then — and if you decline — no Google script loads and no request reaches Google: no cookies, no identifiers, no anonymous pings. The notice shown on your first visit records your answer: if you accepted, Google Analytics measures the pages you visit with the cookies described above, in Google’s consent mode, with the advertising signals always denied; if you declined, nothing loads unless you change your mind. Google handles that data under its own privacy policy.
To revisit your choice at any time, use the Cookie settings link in the footer of any page.
Clearing what is stored
In your browser’s settings, under site data or browsing data, remove the data
for lionfocus.ai. That deletes both keys above. On your next visit the site
returns to its default theme and the privacy notice appears again.
